Selected builds

Export brands whose buyers check a company before they reply, a publication that has to win a stranger out of a search result, a children's publisher, a charity rebuild shown before and after, and an arcade of forty four games you can play right now.

southerncrossprovisions.com
The Southern Cross Provisions home page: the headline Australian provenance, for the world's finest tables, over an evening aerial of a Gulf city skyline, with For Producers and For Importers buttons.
01 / Food export

Southern Cross Provisions

A premium Australian food export brand for honey, truffle and native botanicals, working into the Gulf and premium Asia. Dark, cinematic and deliberately restrained, with background video used to carry atmosphere rather than decorate.

Built as a server-rendered React application on Cloudflare's edge, with bot protection on every form and a build guard that fails the deploy if unverified copy or a private phone number ever reaches the output.

austeraglobal.com
The Austera Global home page: the headline Australian capability for international industry, over aerial footage of a bulk carrier leaving port, with buttons for Australian suppliers and international buyers.
02 / Industrial export

Austera Global

The parent company: an Australian export agency placing mining and industrial equipment into overseas markets. A harder, more technical register than its sister brand, aimed at procurement managers rather than chefs.

The site carries a full trust centre, published commercial terms and a supplier assessment standard, because the audience checks all three before they make contact. Twenty three pages, all statically prerendered.

watchrouteguide.com
A Watchroute Guide article page: a black letter masthead, a menu of guides, bonuses, payments and responsible play, and the headline 2026 Best Online Casinos Canada over a photograph of casino chips.
03 / Publishing and SEO

Watchroute Guide

A content-led review publication in the Canadian online gaming market, and the only build here that has to earn a stranger out of a search result rather than out of an email. Forty four pages arranged into five silos, guides, bonuses, payments, news and responsible play, each with its own hub and a set of supporting articles that link to one another rather than sitting in a heap.

It is a regulated subject, so the build carries the furniture that comes with that: a standing exclusion notice for Ontario visitors, a disclaimer, a published editorial policy, responsible gambling messaging on every page that recommends anything, and a consent platform in front of the advertising and analytics. Static, prerendered and served from Cloudflare's edge.

lanternpathbooks.com
The Lantern Path Books home page: a night sky illustration behind the headline Quiet picture books for the moment before sleep, with a free bedtime checklist signup beside it.
04 / Children's publishing

Lantern Path Books

An independent picture book publisher for ages two to six, selling direct rather than through a shopfront. The site has to do three jobs at once: sell books, give away enough free printables to be worth a parent's email address, and stay calm enough to suit the half hour before bedtime.

It is the largest build here by some distance, with a shop, character pages, games, activities, guides, free resources and an educator section. Analytics are cookieless by default and anything that would set a cookie sits behind an explicit consent choice, which is unusual for a store and was a deliberate call.

Beforedailybreadhouse.org
dailybreadhouse.org
The old Daily Bread House site: a full bleed photograph of a meal being handed over, with the logo and a paragraph of text laid over it, a two item menu reading Home and Shop, and a chat widget in the corner.
Afterdailybreadhouse.com
dailybreadhouse.com
The rebuilt Daily Bread House site: the headline Caring is sharing over a photograph of people eating together, a short line explaining the service, Get involved and See the work buttons, and a six item menu.

The same two sites on a phone, which is where most of their visitors are.

Beforeon a phone
dailybreadhouse.org
The old Daily Bread House site on a narrow screen. The paragraph of hero text is cut off at the right edge, so only the first two or three letters of each line are visible, and below the photograph is a tall band of empty cream coloured space.
Afteron a phone
dailybreadhouse.com
The rebuilt Daily Bread House site on the same narrow screen. The full menu, the headline, the description and both buttons all fit, with nothing cut off.
05 / Charity rebuild

Daily Bread House

A Brisbane charity taking hot meals and essentials to people doing it tough. The old site was a template with two menu items, Home and Shop, and no way to volunteer. Below the fold it ran to about three and a half screens holding two short paragraphs, two photographs and a large block of flat colour, so most of the page was empty. On a phone the opening sentence ran off the right edge and could not be read at all.

The rebuild is eight pages written from scratch around the three things the charity actually needs from a stranger: understand the work, volunteer, or donate. Their own photography and video carry it, the volunteer form works and is bot protected, and the whole thing runs on Cloudflare Pages and Workers behind a strict content security policy.

The Watchroute Arcade home page: a featured game called Palimpsest, a category list, and rows of illustrated game tiles.
The same arcade on a phone, with the featured game stacked above the categories.
06 / Browser games

Watchroute Arcade

Forty four browser games, and the platform they run on, designed and built in house. Action, strategy, physics, puzzle and racing, every one playable on a phone, with categories, daily challenges and a player profile, and it installs to the home screen.

Every tile and every illustration on the arcade is drawn in code as the page loads. There is not one image file among the tiles: open your browser's network tab on the arcade and check, because a claim you can verify in ten seconds is worth more than one you have to take on trust.

This is a sample of our work, not the full list. Every website above links to the live site, and every panel is a real, unretouched capture. The Daily Bread House before and after were taken at the same window sizes on 25 August 2026, while the old site was still online. The landing pages below are shown but not linked, on purpose: they are working commercial pages. If you would like to be walked through any of it, ask.

Landing pages and tools

Interactive tools

Calculators and multi step engines that run entirely in the browser, built to hold the attention of somebody who arrived from an ad and has never heard of the business. No backend, no account, nothing to install.

A stepped calculator interface on a light background.

Stepped affordability calculator

A guided calculator that recalculates on every keystroke and reflows from a single desktop screen to a stacked phone layout.

  • Stepped input flow with live recalculation
  • All arithmetic runs client side, so nothing is transmitted
  • Result panel cannot render an incomplete state

Long form direct response

Leads with the answer, then the argument

The page opens with the number the visitor came for, worked on a real purchase, with the product sitting beside it. The reasoning follows underneath rather than standing in front of it.

  • The answer, the product and the price share the first screen
  • Progressive disclosure down 7,021px of page
  • A weekly brief offered as the second path for anyone not ready to buy

Tool plus product page

Working calculator in the first screen

A short product page where a live calculator and the price occupy the same opening screen, so a visitor can put their own figures in before they scroll anywhere.

  • Fourteen live input fields, the first of them on the opening screen
  • Persistent offer bar built in CSS, no library
  • Built to be read inside another app's browser

Cold traffic

Long form sales pages

Pages whose job is to take a cold visitor from a headline to a purchase decision without a salesperson in the room.

Demos you can try

Talk to the after hours receptionist.

The one demo from our AI line, which is sold separately from the marketing. It is not a screenshot: you drive it yourself.

Try it yourself. It takes about thirty seconds.

What does exist is the thing itself. Put your own business name in and talk to the after hours receptionist we install on a phone line. It takes the job, your name, your number and the suburb, it hands over to a person when something is going wrong, and it will not invent a price or a time to get you off the phone. Try to make it quote you. It answers in your browser, so there is nothing to sign up for.

Answer the phone The fifteen systems and what they cost

It refuses rather than invents

Where it has not been given a fact about your prices or your availability, it says a person will confirm. An assistant that guesses costs you the job in writing, which is why that is the first thing the demo lets you test.

A person approves what reaches a customer

For at least the first month nothing goes to one of your customers that you have not seen. You decide later, in writing, which parts have earned the right to go out on their own.

The off switch is yours

The install is a divert on your own mobile, so three digits typed into your own handset cancels it instantly, with no app, no login and no call to us.

Spend is capped, not metered

Usage runs against a ceiling that stops rather than bills through. The public demo caps itself the same way, and you can watch it happen if you push it far enough.

What we actually do

We design and build the site, write the pages that go after the searches your buyers actually type, set up email that reaches the inbox instead of the spam folder, and report what it produced. One agency rather than three suppliers blaming each other.

We work in code rather than page builders. That is why our sites load quickly, score well and can still be changed a year later without a rebuild.

We do not take every project. If the fit is wrong we say so early, which costs us a job and saves everyone a quarter.

There is a second line of work and it is sold separately. We install AI into how a business already runs: the call nobody could answer after five, the quote written at nine at night, the invoice nobody wanted to chase. It is not an add on to the marketing and the marketing does not require it. Plenty of businesses need one and not the other. That side is here, and you can talk to the receptionist yourself without signing up to anything.

Who runs it Andrew

Watchroute is run by Andrew, with 7+ years in the industry. You deal with the person doing the work, not an account manager relaying messages to a team you never meet.

How we work

Four steps, no mystery.

01

Understand the buyer

Who checks you out, what makes them hesitate, and what they need to see before they make contact. This decides the whole build, and it takes a conversation rather than a questionnaire.

02

Design the fold

The first screen does most of the work. We agree that before anything else gets built, because if it does not hold attention the rest is never read.

03

Build and prove it

Written by hand, tested on real devices, and checked against the live page rather than the build output. A passing build is not evidence the site is right.

04

Feed it

Search pages, email, and whatever channel actually suits the business. Measured on enquiries, and reported plainly including the months a number goes the wrong way.

Anyone can show you a pretty homepage. Ask whether it still loads in two seconds on a phone in a shed.

Every build on this page does

The inbox and tracking audit is $150, once: whether your email reaches the inbox, whether your enquiry form works, and whether your tracking records anything. Written findings, yours to keep. If you would rather talk about a website or the marketing, the contact page is for that.
